Abstract

The Spanish Southeast is characterized as a semiarid region. One of the most direct effects of climate change is the fact that it rains less often and with greater intensity, caus ing the appearance of a greater number of episodes of torrential flows. In th is paper, a validation of the sedime nt transport formulas present in HEC- RAS is made first. Secondly, an analysis of the Albu jon basin sediment transport is conducted, obtaining sediment concentration and total sediment pa ssing through the section of the mouth.
