Abstract

A computer software entitled RKLab® is presented for the development of competences inexplicit numerical methods of the Runge-Kutta family. The aim of this software is to minimisethe learning curve in numerical methods for solving ordinary differential equations expressedas initial value problems. This software is very focused on user experience and userfriendlinessas well as being a robust and reliable tool. RKLab has been validated and tested inthe application of several areas such as mechanical behaviour, seismology, and epidemiology.
