Abstract

The aim of the experimental work is to study improvements in aggregate - paste interface mortars addictions hydration of Al, Si and Ca an hydrous slag. By using sl ag as a cementitious mate rial is recycled waste and consumption of natural resources is reduced. The resu lts show that at the age of 365 days, mortars made with replacement of 50% of cement by EGAH resistance reach similar to mortar made with 100% cement. Consumption of calcium hydr oxide during the hydration of the EG AH and CSH improve the mechanical properties of the slag - paste interface.
