Abstract

The subject of architectural projects is a mainly practical one in the Degree in Architecture, which happens in «workshops» where the students develop the skills and competencies required for the elaboration of an architectural project. The rapid paces set by the university teaching, added to the increase in the student— professor ratio that the current economic situation has promoted, eomplicate the realisation of strategies to coordinate both vertically and horizontally the different levels of the subject, This situation often leads to a series of teaching closed boxes, where every workshop develops its program independently from the rest of levels. Because of the need to reduce these difficulties the area proposes the Jury, a session of collective review, like an educational innovation strategy which allows establishing vertical and horizontal connections within the area, and among the other subjects in the Degree.
