Résumé

A microwave oscillator operating at 1296MHz is designed, constructed and measured. This circuit presents high educational interest to assist in the learning/teaching of highfrequency electronics, subsystems and systems. This is due to the fact that this oscillator is based on several basic high-frequency subsystems which are cascaded. The student must understand many essential concepts about microwave circuits to design each circuit, making use of the appropriate CAD software. Each subsystem is fabricated and measured independently, and finally the whole oscillator is constructed to experimentally check the theory. This activity is part of a bigger project for the development of a microwave Radiotelescope at the Technical University of Cartagena (UPCT).
