Abstract
At the end of XVth century was built, in the room known as the prison of traders in the Lonja of Valencia, a vault which eschews the constructive solutions of Late Gothic vaulting, such as ribs and webs, in order to be done completely in carved stone. There are several unknown aspects about the vault form and construction, in halfway between Gothic stonecutting and Renaissance stereotomy, reason why this work aims to study it from a rigorous survey.
