Abstract
Self-healing concrete is being a interesting investigation path in relation to the possibility to improve mechanical properties at concrete hardened state, especially to improve concrete durability and open important way to autogenous healing for cracked concrete. Present work summarizes self-healing and autogenous healing process due to concrete aditions and post-hydratation mechanisms. SEM and microacoustic emission analysis are used to quantify concrete healing.
