Abstract

Dominican Republic is a country rich in nature and has lots of wetlands. The objective of this study is to analyze the trends of few ecosystem services to human wellbeing by seven wetlands linked to groundwater. The methodology consisted of compiling and elaborating information using three tabs designed expressly. The main conclusions are that Cultural services are improving in most wetlands, three Supply services improve in several cases, and respect to Regulatory service there is great ignorance due to the shortage of information.
