Abstract

This work presents a two-dimens ional numerical study of the tempera ture and flow in semipermeable geothermal domains with low thermal diffusivity with ex traction and injection wells. The interest of the study is to determine how the presence of th e wells changes the reservoir fields, in particular, near to extraction and injection points, in order to find the mo re efficient configuration of a geotherma l exploitation to be installed in the interest area. Results show the systems reach the steady sta te after 54 years and th e presence of wells changes strongly the geothermal response of the reservoir
