Abstract

One of the technologies used in pr ecision agriculture are the wireless sensor networks. During the next years, a meaningful increase is expec ted in its deployment in situ that will cause numerous technical challenges. Different middleware pave the way to ov ercome these challenges. In this work it is verified if one of these middleware, FI-WARE, will be able to scale in the same extent in which agricultural applications will do it. For this reason, we have created a test bench in which different deployments and load conditions have been simulated.
