Abstract

The huge increase in the number of smart devices increases the dema nd for network capacity. In this context is where aerial networks ta ke relevance by using UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) devices, commonly known as drones. This paper describes and analyses the use of these devices as WiFi nodes both in infrastructure and ad hoc modes, performing a preliminary theoretical st udy and, then, conducting real experiments.
