Modelado tridimensional y musealización del molino hidráulico vertical romano del yacimiento "hoya de los molinos", en Caravaca de la Cruz

When the excavation of an archaeological site is ftnished and it remains in the subsoil of a new building, without access or visible, it is essential to ensure that researchers, and society in general, can have accurate documentation of these ftndings, thus enhancing recognition and dissemination and that the specialists can continue with the studies. An example of this is the work carried out in the archaeological site "Hoya de los Molinos", in Caravaca de la Cruz. A survey with photogrammetry and a 3D laser scanner has been developed, which has allowed a 3D modeling of the reservoir and virtual reconstruction the most characteristic elements such as the vertical wheel, the gears that allowed the grinding of grain and the building that protected them. In addition, an explanatory video of the site has been made. 1his work ( models and video), will be located in an exhibition space of the Municipal Archaeological Museum o/La Soledad,for its inclusive dissemination, contributing to the knowledge, musealization and dissemination of this archaeological ftnd.
