This research paper shows a numerical study on cooling curve modeling for GMAW welding process and its interaction with the curve of temperature-time-properties (TTP). The curve TTP allows approximation to the properties obtained in a 7010-T76 aluminum welded joint with the cooling curve intersection. The post welding properties that appear on an aluminum alloy will depend both on welding assembly cooling time between 410 and 300 ºC and cooling time slop. According to the resulting surface from the intersection between the cooling curve and the TTP curve the appearance of precipitates in the welding assembly will increase or decrease.
