Laburpena

The gender gap refers to the different positions of men and women and the unequal distribution of resources, access and power in a context. These differences can apply to different areas such as, for example, work, politics or education. The study focuses on the pension system in the light of the recent enactment of Royal Decree-Law 3/2021, of 2 February, which adopts measures to reduce the gender gap and other matters in the fields of social security and economics. The research focuses, therefore, on analysing exclusively the measures for the reduction of the gender gap referred to in that regulation which, after an introduction, studies the background, the complement of contributory pensions for the reduction of the gender gap, the date of accrual, the beneficiaries, the rules for their receipt, the birth, suspension and extinction, the application and related benefits, their amount, the Passive Classes, the incompatibilities and the temporal scope. Subsequently, the jurisprudential criteria are analysed in order to present, finally, the most relevant conclusions
