Abstract
In this work, a model to assess the generic competences within the final project is developed by the assessment teachingteam at Technical University of Cartagena. The model proposed is based on a chronological basis where different stagesare described. The first stage is the previous stage, followed by the development stage subdivided into three parts. Inthese stages the students´ and the instructors´ roles are described. Furthermore, a final grading model is proposed. Inevery single stage, the corresponding documents to assist the final users within the process were developed. The mostrepresentative documents developed are: the learning agreement, the students´ reflexive diary, the rubric to assess thegeneric competencies and the final grading scheme.
