Abstract

The rapid development of Information and Communications Technologies, and itsacceptance by society, is taking deeper and deeper onto the teaching and learninghabits at the University level. There, the use of a mixed system of education in whichface to face teaching is combined with the use of virtual classrooms (blended elearning) is rapidly increasing. By far, the most common way to complement face toface teaching is by using the different Learning Management System platforms alongwith the various tools provided in these platforms. Although there are many studiesthat evaluate the quality of the service provided to students through this learningmodel, it can be expected they have different perceptions depending on the disciplinebeing analyzed. With this objective in mind, the present study evaluates theusefulness of these platforms and tools in a Faculty of Economics and Business inwhich the degrees of Economics and Business Administration are offered
