The configuration of the teaching plans and, consequently, the subjects of thedegrees require careful coordination and teaching collaboration in order to reachchallenges such as student-centred learning, skills development and continuousdevelopment of learning outcomes. The system of teaching coordination andcollaboration applied to the subject "Fundamentals of Marine Transport"' of the NavalArchitecture and Marine Engineering Systems Degree and their perception by thestudents is presented in this paper. Specifically, the teaching coordination takesplace in three stages along with a collaborative teaching team with specialist profileknowledge in the areas of economics and naval architecture. In addition, thecoordination process also is extended to students through the use of project-centredlearning. The students value the process of coordination and collaboration schemeapplied positively
