Resumen
In 1585, the Negro Tower or Arráez tower was built in El Algar (Cartagena), forming part of an extensive network of watchtowers and defense of the coast of Murcia against the frequent attacks of barbary pirates at that time. It is an interior rural tower (type known as “strong house”), whose mission is to transfer warnings from the coastal towers to the interior towers and thus serve as a refuge and protect the population, especially farmers and ranchers. Current graphic survey technologies allow 3D models to be obtained that facilitate comprehensive analysis and decision-making for the correct conservation of Heritage. #e text exposes the work methodology developed and the technical means used as an example for the historical-constructive analysis and surveys of similar heritage buildings, as well as the results obtained. #e comprehensive analysis, the graphic survey and the three-dimensional model carried out must allow the necessary architectural recovery of the tower and its integration into the natural and landscape environment.
