Abstract

"The Cartagena Child's House" is a group of buildings that occupy an arca of 10,800 m2 • lt had been destined from the beginning, in the early 20th century to the children's cares. The initiative was born under the "Law of Childhood's Protection in 1904 ". The most important driving man was the teacher Félix Martl Alpera, whose objective is not only to educate and feed underprivileged children, but also to achieve them an Integral Education. The purpose of this project has been to act on the East Pavilion over Tolosa Latour's street, originally built by Vlctor Be/tri. 111e project started in 2004 for the CEHIFORM (Historie Photographic Center of Region of Murcia) Campus. The Structural restoration has been carried out in 2008, and the Facade's restoration in 2019. The interior adequacy and the decision of an appropriate use with the original meaning of the building is still pending actually.
