Resumen

The main purpose of this communication is to offer an innovative didactic proposal for the teaching ofEnglish as a foreign language in a group of Secondary Education students based on the use of participatory video as a learning tool. This proposal has been conceived with the aim of primarily developingoral skills in the English language while at the same time allowing significant transversal elements to beworked on. This communication arises, in the first instance, from the interest shown by the audiovisualand informative media throughout life, since they mean not only a source of entertainment, but also ofinspiration in the elaboration of activities of a simply creative nature as well as than in the use of teaching materials in professional life. Additionally, the choice of this topic stems from its efficiency as atool at the training level and in the foreign language classroom, since it successfully contributes to thedevelopment of oral skills, favors the active use of grammar and vocabulary, as well as helps to workon and improve your pronunciation.
