Resumen

The final equations which determine the location of the markers of tracking systems operating within a machine vision context are not evident. Therefore, in educational circles where industrial or telecommunication engineering subjects related to robotics are given, the understanding of such equations could be difficult. In this sense, in this work, the equations for determining the positionand movement of markers in a machine vision system are thoroughly deduced (step by step) by geometrical triangulation with the aim of facilitating their understanding as well as illustrating their obtaining.
