Abstract

Inhabiting raises multiple and varied unknowns from contemporary times. The current dwelling aspires, therefore, to create a domestic space with a greater degree of flexibility and ambiguity. 110 Rooms, a 22 dwellings housing block (Barcelona, ??2016) carried out by MAIO architectural office, is a good example to observe these issues. 110 Rooms bets, as project strategy, for a changing dwelling: a system of (almost) equal rooms that allow different combinations of inhabiting; a sequence of ambiguous rooms that allow users the possibility to inhabit them as they desire.
