Abstract

The student's portfolio and its assessment" is the result of analysis and experience of some teachers of macroeconomicswithin the Department of Economics at the UPCT. We propose a teaching tool consisting of a portfolio to apply in aparticular subject, but is considered valid for other subjects with the necessary adjustments and modifications that areneeded in each case. Additionally, we propose a novel technique of portfolio assessment in which it is incorporated intocooperative learning which allows to develop and enhance other skills in students apply to their education andemployability. Finally, the evaluation technique proposed for the portfolio allows the simplification of it which, moreover,is one of the most complex parts in the implementation of this tool in teaching
