With the ultimate goal of its integration into a hybrid system withrenewable energies and hydrogen technologies, an alkaline membrane electrolyser has been acquired, the necessary plant has been designed and built for its operation, the program which allows its operation and control of the operation variables has been developed using the Labview platform, and the plant has been operated by setting different variables. The hydrogen generated hasbeen released into the atmosphere or stored in small bottles in the form of metal hydrides. This work sets out some of the results obtained during the operation of the electrolyser.
