Resumen

Ca(OH)2 nanoparticles (NPs) can be used as coatings to consolidate porous surfaces in monuments [1-2]. An important advantage of Ca(OH)2 NPs is that they are transformed into compatible CaCO3 coatings on the surface of calcareous heritage materials. This paper assesses the surface-dispersion of Ca(OH)2 NPs coatings using microscopy and image analysis software.
