Abstract

The objective of this research is analyzing the variables that operate in the efficiency ofbankruptcy process due to its importance in the economy. This study sheds light aboutthe potential differences in their financial and economic status between companies thatsuccessfully finished the restructuring after an insolvency procedure and those who failto do it and end up with the company’s liquidation. An analysis was conducted to testthe effect of being administrated by Big4 administrators and its level of the retribution inthe result of the procedure. We obtained conclusive data showing significantdifferences in all the analyzes
