Résumé
Control charts for variables are very common tools used to monitor the quality of business processes. In practice, the problem of missing data could occur and control charts could suffer from various drawbacks under this situation. A practical solution is to use an imputation method, which consists in substituting the missing values with plausible values. In this paper, we discuss various simple imputation methods in the context of control charts for variables.
