Abstract

The lack of uniformity found in medical regis ters used by the Medical Services in the different Military Units, makes it impossible to exactly discover their morbidit rate. The absence of this information at the national leve! makes it diffi cult to discover the state of health/illnesses of military personnel and the possible avaiblability of human aud material resources. Therefore it is necessary to define a minimal group of data that will satisfy the information needs of these Units, so that an analysis of the same will allow the various existing resources to be adapted to the requirements found in these Units. In order to answer these questions, consensus techniques will be used to define the mínimum data to be registered, in order to obtain exact in formation on the causes of morbidity in military personnel and to define the information system to collect and treat these data.
