Resumo
In this paper the influence of the railway trac k flexibility on the dynamic re sponse of a locomotive, which belongs to the high-spe ed train type articulated AVE S-100, travelling on a short track lengt h is studied by means of numeric simulations carried out with a nonlin ear train-track interaction model. Lateral and vertical car body accelerations have been studied as dynamics vehicle response indices. The observed results of the numerical simulations carried out show the low influence of the track flexib ility on the vehicle re sponse for train speeds lower or equal to 300 km/h, whereas for hi gher train speeds this influence is appreciable.
