Abstract
IZAR-Cartagena is a spanish shipbuilding company which is leader of warships. In order to guarantee its highly competitive position in the international market it has been forced to apply the Concurrent Engineering for the development of its projects. In this article we are going to present the changes of the environment of Concurrent Engineering, those have taken place in the company. The critical aspects of the Concurrent Engineering implementation will also be presented.
