Resumen

Turbomachinery design is a complex taskwhere analytical theory, experience, estimations,and free choices are mixed to obtain a first designthan later numerical or experimental furtherstudies will improve. In the case of pico-hydraulicaxial turbine, the need of low cost and simplegeometry combined with a tailored design for aspecific location advise to develop a generalizedmethod using dimensionless approach. The mainapplication in mind for such a development is theenergy recovery in water distribution networks
