Résumé

The process of innovation is very complex and multidimensional in nature, since numerous factors interact to obtain a viable result (Goswami & Mathew, 2005). Currently, technological innovations are having a great impact for humanity, society and for business processes, especially in the service sector and in the facilitation of teaching and learning (Oke & Fernandes, 2020). The question of determining the impact of innovation on the institutions of society is still open (Tkachuk, 2022), since innovation is a phenomenon that takes place in different fields, such as when analyzing the behavior of a company, developing a new product or the learning process of other companies or in academic fields (Etzkowitz, 2003). As well as in the practical motivation for citizens to participate in innovation competitions such as, for example, hackathons and app competitions for collaboration and co-creation of civic services and cultural development (Hartmann et al., 2017). Assessing the different preferences of innovation actors and the importance that each actor in the innovation ecosystem is critical from a policy and practical point of view (Carayannis et al., 2018), as further research is required to conclude whether there is a determinant effect between the different actors and factors that deliver positive innovation outcomes (Jones & Corral de Zubielqui, 2017). Nowadays, innovation has taken a strong role in different industries, disciplines and even in everyday life. There is talk of innovation methodologies and innovation skills, but little is said about innovation management involving all the key actors in the process. When this work began, the focus was on finding contributions around regional innovation systems, and after conducting an initial systematic literature review, it was observed that a systemic and methodological approach to study innovation, among others, are the regional innovation systems and the triple helix.
