The EU industry needs institutional transformation integrating the challenges of European technology development. The EU-funded EUt EXTRAS project will support the emergence of intercampus knowledge-creating groups across institutions, disciplines and types of activities around an innovative approach to the environment and steering and performance of research. It will use this as a test bed to establish a roadmap for research and innovation at EUt EXTRAS level by 2030 to validate a solid methodology of institutional transformation. The project will also co-construct pilot experimentation to attain a flexible, decentralised and collaborative critical mass in research that will support the institutional transformation required for the European industrial renewal opening new career opportunities. The ambition of EUt+ project EXperimentation to Transform Research Activities and Steering (EUt EXTRAS) is to support the emergence of intercampus knowledge-creating teams across our institutions, across disciplines, and across types of activities, towards a new approach of the environment and of steering and execution of research. It will be a test bed to establish a common roadmap for research and innovation at the EUt+ level by 2030 to validate a solid methodology of institutional transformation fully integrating the challenges of European technology development. We want to co-construct a pilot experimentation to achieve a critical mass in research that is flexible, decentralised
