The main challenges for the future wireless systems can be summarized in deivice-centric architectures, millimeter wave (mmWave), massive MIMI, snarter devices and native support for machine-to-machine (M2M) communication. The goal of this proposal is to advance in the conception of a new generation of wireless antenna systems, operating into the microwave, millimeter and terahertzfrequency domains of the electromagnetic (EM)spectrum (x-wave).
