Abstract

This work is placed in the Bachelor’s Degree in 'l‘elecommunications Systems, Sound and Image Engineering. This degree is taught at the Gandia’s Higher Polytechnic School, belonging to the Polytcchnic University of Valencia lt shows how, through a vertical coordination between a subject in the third grade (Building Acoustic) and two matters in the first grade (Mathematics l and Mathematics 2), you can motivatc a student of first year using real data and solving problems related to their future professional responsibilities, In order to do this, you have the information collected by the third year students in the measurement of parameters that allow the assessing the acoustic quality of an auditorium, a conference room, a cinema, etc. Using the collected data, the skills which are worked in Mathematics l can be developed; moreover it supposes a motivation of the first year students. 'l‘herefore, once they get to third year, and know the tools needed, they can deepen the skills of sound quality rooms
