Résumé

The growing importance of social media, has become a key element for promoting products and services, especially tourism. We analyze the usage level of the main social networks in the Spanish coastal hotels, which do not belong to big hotel chains. We identify which hotels make improper use of Facebook and Twitter, by monitoring three clear errors managing those social networks. Those errors are clearly and objectively detectable.
