Doctor by the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena with the thesis El comercio electrónico análisis y propuestas de potenciación. Aplicación al caso de la Región de Murcia 2004. Supervised by Dr. Juan Jesús Bernal García.

She is a PhD in Economics and Business Management from the UPCT (2004) and professor in the Department of Quantitative Methods, Legal Sciences and Modern Languages of the Faculty of Business Sciences at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena since year 2000. His research and teaching focuses on management informatics, electronic commerce and social networks applied to business and tourism. She has been secretary of the Faculty of Business Sciences and director and secretary of the Department of Quantitative and Informatics Methods at the UPCT for various periods of time. Head Researcher of the Group of Quantitative and Computer Methods for Economics and Business. She has several publications in journals listed in JCR and INRECS and in other international indexes, such as Tourism Management (Q1), as well as numerous articles in magazines or books from prestigious publishers (SPI). She has also participated as a researcher in different regional, national and international projects with funds from relevant entities. She is member of the Editorial Committee of the Journal of Tourism Analysis. His works have been presented at national and international conferences. She has ten awards for the best final Master's/Degree project and a patent. In 2015, one of these works was distinguished by RENDITUR as one of the most relevant in Tourism at a national level that year; in 2018 and in 2021 three other works were awarded the FUNCARELE Prize. Also in 2021, another TFG was recognized with the Region of Murcia Economists Award. Director of a thesis read in April 2015, which was a finalist in the 2016 FITUR Tribune Award. Currently, she is co-directing two doctoral theses on the presence of social networks and polarization, and on competitiveness associated with tourism infrastructure. She has been member of several commissions such as Equality or others of Teaching and Innovation at the UPCT. She has participated in various educational innovation programs and as a result she has received two recognitions as a Reference Professor in the Higher Education Space (2018 and 2022). She is currently a member of the Commission for Help and Advice to the University Ombudsman at the UPCT. Previously, she worked in banking entities such as Argentaria-Caja Postal and La Caixa and other companies from different fields belonging to the private sector. She has been a volunteer for what she has a degree in Leisure Animator (Level 2 granted by the Generalitat Valenciana) having dedicated her activity to prevention and training, as well as Sociocultural animation in neighborhoods with children and young people at risk of social exclusion (Don Bosco Youth Federation of the Region of Murcia and the Ancora Youth Center) among which the use of theatrical and musical resources stood out.
