Abstract

We expose the strategies of communication institutional politician as regards defense for the improvement and organization of the Spanish Armed Forces (FAS) and the Defence Systems (SDE). The Spanish Armed Forces are immersed in a process of professionalisation and modernisation, as derived from the European Security and Defence Policy, from the objectives presented in the National Defence Directives, and the Strategic Defence Review. The communication presents a revision of the basic lines of the political Spanish evolution and innovation lines in defense, through the publications of the congress in the areas of security and defense, the strategic revision, the external action, the new model's of FAS objectives, the employment of infrastructures, the defense culture, as well as the resources of the economy dedicated to defense. For it, the trajectory of the economic endowment of the defense department is shown, through its budgetary adaptation.
