Abstract

A review of the state-of-the-art two-phase models for solid propellants combus tion is presented. A solid phase, solid propellant, and a gas phase, as a result of pr opellant combustion, coexist in these problems. In this study the models detailed ar e those in which the gover ning equations system is completed by the necessary constitutive relations to solve the problem.
