Resumo

The Spanish university model is currently affected by educational reforms andbudgetary policies strongly conditioned by the economic situation of the moment. Thegrowth cycle of the Spanish economy chronologically coincided with the years of theso-called Bologna process implementation. However, the adaptation of the Spanishuniversity context the so-called European Higher Education Area (EHEA) has notonly unworkable result finally completed , but has been subject to a reset context atall levels .The current scenario of budgetary consolidation is having a significant impact on theuniversity level whose implications for the future is necessary to assess in the field ofteaching and quality. The training and development of teachers is a long phasedprocess in which distortions in the short term can only have visible consequences inthe medium to long term.
