Abstract

This paper presents the educational innovation experience held in the SecondarySchool Juan Sebastián Elcano from Cartagena where the cloud has been used as aspace for collaborative learning. Students in the first year of the Bachelor of SocialScience and in Mathematics have used Prezi educational tool for dynamic andnonlinear presentations and file hosting service Google Drive giving and receivingimmediate feedback of the state of their academic tasks to their colleagues throughthe comments section. This environment has created an ideal space for the sharedconstruction of knowledge and has become a useful tool for sharing mathematicsmaterials and resources collaboratively regardless of distance and time. With the useof these tools further attention has been attracted by students and they have focusedon the important aspects of the studied subject. We have studied the consequencesof using this tool in promoting the use of ICT and communication and motivation ofstudents of the Secondary School using a form created with Google Drive that hasbeen sent to students by email and has been answered by them. Students who haveused these innovative educational tools have improved their communication withother students, have increased their motivation towards Mathematics, and also theuse of ICT in such students has been promoted
