Abstract

This research shows tutors’ experiences during the scientific summer programs and the difficulties students face when being away from their home institutions. This research also presents the strategies that have been implemented for the teaching-learning process applying a constructivist model. The study gathers experiences of over five years of work during scientific summer programs with students from outside the State of Guanajuato, mainly coming from the State of Tabasco. It exposes the importance and responsibility of the researcher in the role of a tutor.
