Résumé
The integration of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in the European Higher Education Area needs complementary techniques that improve student motivation. Digital boards are found useful in this context, offering an interactive view of contents. However, their use is limited by the cost, infrastructure needs and interaction drawbacks. To cope with these issues, this work proposes an improvement of a mature experience in PBL, with portable digital boards and classroom response systems. Thanks to a wireless tablet-type device, both professors and students can move around the classroom, taking advantage of an interactive board. The resultant methodology is demonstrating to be positive, raising the motivation in those PBL stages a priori less interesting for students, i.e. theoretical lessons.
