Mining Engineer from the Higher Technical School of Mining Engineers of the Polytechnic University of Madrid in 1989, he has carried out various consulting jobs in mining and groundwater in several companies in the sector. Associate Professor at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena since 1997 in the Area of Mine Exploitation, he has taught the subjects of Environmental Impact, Use of Explosives, Energy Logistics, Prospecting and Exploitation of Hydrocarbons and Organization of Works. He currently teaches the subjects of Safety in Mining and Energy Industries and Legislation and Environment in the Master of Mining Engineering. Head of the Mines Service of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia since 2010, he has previously carried out inspection functions in mining operations in matters of safety and health and the environment since 1991.
