This project was applied for to be in-line with and to support the recent EU policies that are giving greater attention to ICT skills, especially the employment of ICT specialists. In order to boost the stability in the European labour markets and to improve the EU’s competitive position, it is important to monitor the employment of ICT specialists, not just those with ICT background but also those with Social Sciences and Humanities specialities. The importance of this has been reflected in the recently updated Digital Single Market strategy. The needs addressed are the upskilling of EU workers to acquire higher end skills to prevent the loss of key ICT jobs to other regions of the world. This is achieved by targeting groups of relevant audience such as initial VET students, current/continuing VET students, VET authorities, teachers, VET schools and Industries. The final aim is to tutor and upskill a creative thinker to lead digital strategies in companies. These strategies were implemented by ICT experts who developed tools and solutions using the Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence or Blockchain. We therefore applied for this project with four specific objectives to achieve and three intellectual outputs to develop to ensure that the objectives were met and the needs were addressed. We had also been mindful in the selection of partners. Partners were selected for their strengths and the contributions they could bring to make this project
