Abstract

The European University context is encouraging and promoting an active role of students in their learning process. Inthis context, cooperative learning techniques represent useful tools for developing specific skills and cross. The aim ofthis paper is to present the results of the implementation of cooperative learning techniques in an accounting subject. Inparticular, these techniques have been used in teaching the course "Analysis of Financial Statements" that is taught infourth year of the Bachelor of Business Administration at the Faculty of Business Sciences at the Polytechnic Universityof Cartagena during the academic year 2010-2011.
