Zusammenfassung

The CRISPR/Cas9 system nowadays has become the most used genome editing technology in the scientific world. Although this technique is in constant evolution, one of the main problems that persists is the lack of solid bioinformatics tools for the design of guide-RNAs (gRNA) for different species with high effectiveness and specificity. Here, we describe the methodology of design and generation of gRNA for genome editing through CRISPR/Cas9 technology in Solanaceae.
